This Lane cedar trunk has been thoughtfully reimagined, blending craftsmanship with a fresh, updated look.

Each piece in my collection is carefully repaired, refinished, and when needed, restored—giving it new life while preserving its original character.

Measuring 24” high, 18.5” deep, and 45” long, this trunk offers both style and practical storage. The exterior features a striking ombré finish, with a rich black stain on the top and base that gradually transitions into a deep brown across the body. The result is a warm, layered look that adds depth without overwhelming a space.

Inside, the original cedar lining has been refreshed, maintaining that classic wood scent and natural storage benefits cedar is known for. As mandated by law for safety reasons, the lock has been disabled. This also allows for easy, everyday use without the worry of misplaced keys.

This piece works well as a statement coffee table, blanket chest, or entryway storage bench. Its neutral yet distinctive finish makes it easy to incorporate into a wide range of home styles, from modern to rustic to transitional.
