Mended Hearts in the Wild: I Found It!
What happens when a Mended Heart leaves the workshop and goes out into the world? You go looking for it!
Mended Hearts in the Wild is a new, ongoing adventure from the Mended Hearts Project. From time to time, Basile will take one of his handmade Mended Hearts and leave it somewhere out in the wild for someone to discover.
He'll simply announce that a heart has been released through his social media pages and provide a few clues about where it might be. Then it's up to you to start looking.
And yes, the artwork is yours to keep when you find it.
You Found It!
If you've found a Mended Heart in the Wild, congratulations! You just discovered a piece of original handmade artwork that was intentionally placed there for someone to find. That someone could be you.
Basile would love to know where his wandering hearts end up, so if you can, take a photo and send it to him. You don't have to be in the picture. You don't have to tell him where you found it. You won't be added to a mailing list or asked to do anything else.
Just send a photo and say:
I FOUND IT.
That's it.
That’s how Basile will know that another heart has been discovered and has made its way into a new home.
And There Will Be More
Mended Hearts in the Wild isn't a one-time event. Basile intends to keep doing this, releasing Mended Hearts into the world for people to discover.
So follow along on Social Media, watch for the clues, and keep your eyes open. You never know when a Mended Heart might turn up somewhere you least expect it.
